About me

barbara.jpg

My passion for the arts began in my childhood, a time when I also developed a deep connection to nature, and a great curiosity for people. Photography has provided me with the opportunity to combine these interests and explore a way to utilize my knowledge and skills in art, design, and photography to contribute to emerging environmental and social initiatives.

Through the mysterious nooks and crannies of this home I entered Machay-Ta. Machay is a Quechua word that means cave in the shape of a church. A singular space that speaks of the uniqueness of those who live there. (Huaras, Peru)

I am fascinated with the contrast between the minimalist architecture and the decorated gardens in German towns, because they represent two very different sides of German culture. (Germany)

Caleta Tortel

"Caleta Tortel" is a small town in southern Chile. The geographical isolation and rough climate of the south make this place both unique and timeless.
