More than 600 people live in the "Paul Sudeck Haus" residential home for students in Hamburg. Everybody receives the same kind of room with the same space and pieces of furniture: 11 m2 with a bed, a desk and a wardrobe.

And yet every room is different: They are as diverse as their residents, because they influence their space. The small rooms have become their home and a reflection of themselves. Everybody takes a little part of home with them to make their new environment more special, more like home.

When I lived in this residential home, I portrayed different students in their private space and myself.
